Nu-Metal veterans Nonpoint invaded The Radio Room Greenville with fellow alternative metal veterans SOiL, and the genre smashing band Sumo Cyco during their "Outta Control Tour" delivering a night packed with high energy performances and crowd driven chaos.

Canadian natives Sumo Cyco kicked off the night with their signature blend of alternative metal, rock and pop, and their high-energy frontwoman Skye Sweetnam.
With tracks like “No Surrender” and “Bystander,” Sumo Cyco did not just warm up the crowd, they ignited it. Their set came with early pit movement, fast pacing, and a vibrant stage presence that made it clear they were not just an opener but a full force part of the lineup.

Their blend of aggression and melody hit hard in a live setting, pulling the crowd in and keeping their attention from the start.

Continuing the energy of the night was nu-metal and alternative metal veterans SOiL, led by frontman Ryan McCombs.
The Illinois-based band wasted little time locking into the heavy, aggressive sound that helped define their place in early 2000s metal.

SOiL riled the crowd with fan favorites “Halo,” “Breaking Me Down,” and “Unreal,” with the pit erupting during “Halo.”
The combination of pounding riffs and crowd participation turned the set into one of the night’s heaviest moments up to that point.

Closing out the night, Nonpoint took the stage as headliners and immediately elevated the energy in the room.
Frontman Elias Soriano commanded the stage throughout the set, keeping the crowd engaged by interacting with them on the barricade and leading them into the high-energy mosh pits.
The band delivered fan favorites like “Bullet With a Name,” “Alive and Kicking,” and “Breaking Skin.” Alongside the staples, they also surprised the audience with newer tracks “Is It” and “Red Yeti,” featuring a collaboration with Sumo Cyco’s Skye Sweetnam.

The band’s relentless energy and crowd connection turned their set into the defining moment of the night.
Overall, the “Outta Control Tour” lived up to its name, delivering a night of high-energy performances that rarely let up. Each band brought its own distinct sound and presence, but together they created a consistent wave of heavy riffs, crowd engagement, and live intensity. From Sumo Cyco’s explosive opening set to SOiL’s gritty nostalgia and Nonpoint’s commanding headliner performance, the night proved why these bands continue to resonate within the nu-metal and alternative metal scenes.
